Örö is home to rare species and a historic fortress. The national park was closed to the public for more than a century and has now reopened.

On the island of Bodö, a trail leads through a variety of landscapes.

On Nauvo Island stands St. Olav’s fieldstone church, dating from the 1440s. It houses one of the oldest existing Finnish-language Bibles from 1642. The maritime museum is located beside the church.

Helsingholmen offers home-baked bread, smoked and fresh fish, and beautiful nature trails across the island.

Rosala features a Viking village, a stone labyrinth, and St. Helga’s Chapel with a Marian altar and an altarpiece depicting Christ enthroned in heaven.
