14.03.25. Meeting at Barcelona airport from the flight at 13-20. We travel to the Cava region (1 hour) to a winery for a tasting and hands-on experience of disgorging – the extraction of the yeast sediment collected in the neck of the bottle during the final stage of cava production. Everyone disgorges their own bottle, decorates it (labels, etc.) and takes it away. Then a tasting of 3 cavas, including the one that was disgorged (3 hours). Accommodation for the night in an estate near the winery.

15.03.25. Breakfast. Transfer to Palamós. (2 hours). 11:30 – tasting at the winery near Palamós. 3 young wines and 3 premium wines, olive oil and homemade products. Check-in yacht, shopping. Passage to Estartit – a small ancient town opposite the protected Medes Islands (17 miles).

16.03,25. Passage to Llansa (25 nm). The town is known for its artistic heritage – the chapel of San Silvestre (11th century), the bell tower in the main square (14th century) and the church of San Vicente, mid-eighteenth century.

17.03.25.Visit to the winery region of Empordà vineyards, olive groves, cellars and tasting of 7 wines with tasting of local cheeses, sausages and sweets. 18.03.2025. Banyuls. At 10:45 and 15:00 – tastings of the great wines of Collioure and Banyuls in two wineries. Banyuls has earned its reputation for its famous, fortifying and energizing natural sweet wines, exported all over the world since the 19th century. Passage to Port-Vendres (5 nm).  Good restaurants on the waterfront with oysters, mussels and wine.
19.03.2025. Walk to Collioure (2 km). Collioure is a city full of history, colors, washed by the sea, surrounded by mountains and terraced vineyards, which inspired Matisse, Cezanne, Picasso and Chagall. Branching streets with steps, cozy coastal cafes. Collioure has a special light – an endless play of transparent reflections of the sea and sun with ancient walls. Artists called this town a gift of fate with its severe fortresses and special, bohemian and almost homely atmosphere. The main face of Collioure is the royal fortress and the chapel of the Notre Dame des Anges church of the 14th century, rising straight from the sea, which decorates the central embankment on the edge of the pebble beach. Passage to Calera (8 miles).

20.03..2025. 11-00. Winery in Calera. Tasting and comparison of wines of the Empordà region of 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Passage to Cadaqués (15 miles) Cadaqués is a white-walled fishing town on the tip of Cap de Creus. Here is the Benedictine monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, one of the most important monuments of Romanesque art in Catalonia. It is a favorite place of many famous artists, including Picasso and Salvador Dali. The city is famous for its exquisite cuisine. Here and in neighboring Port Licata are the most delicious and inexpensive oysters in all of Spain and France.

21.03.2025. Return to Palamós (30 miles). Final dinner with tasting.
22.03.2025. Transfer to the airport for departure at 14-05.
