11.10. The medieval castle of the noble Florentine family, which has been producing wine and olive oil for over 1000 years. Cellar, oil mill and large tower with stunning panoramic views. Tasting of two Chianti wines, extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by bread, cold cuts and cheese, and a typical Tuscan dessert wine “Vinsanto” with “Cantuccini” (typical Tuscan almond pastry). Overnight in a villa near San Gimignano.
12.10. Breakfast. Visiting medieval “Manhattan” San Gimignano.  Tasting 3 Vernaccia di San Gimignano – is the first Italian DOC and the only white DOCG in Tuscany 3 Vernaccia. The tasting is followed by lunch – a rich Tuscan platter with typical Tuscan sausages, mixed bruschetta and a selection of Tuscan pecorino cheese, a first course with meat sauce. Alta Maremma wine region.In addition to the traditional red Sangiovese and Merlot, we will get acquainted with the white grape varieties Ansonica and Vermentino, olive oil, traditional local meats and cheeses . Accommodation in apartments by the sea.
13.10. We’re going truffle hunting. We will have a lesson on how to recognize and look for truffles. One hour of truffle hunting with a professional guide who will tell you a lot of interesting things about truffles. You’ll learn why they’re a mainstay of the slow food movement and how to properly use and store them. Lunch with local products: Appetizers: Tuscan cheeses and salami, bruschetta. First course: Tagliolini with truffle and truffle lasagne. Second course: Fried meat with potatoes and vegetables. Dessert: Cantuccini cookies with dessert wine. 18.10. Wine region of San Gimignano.Vernaccia di San Gimignano is the first Italian DOC and the only white DOCG in Tuscany 3 Vernaccia and Passito. The tasting is accompanied by a plate of typical Tuscan products with bread and olive oil.
